Tonyconomics is the working title for my new book. Other titles I’m playing with include “Albatross” and “37 Proverbs About Nothing”. It’s in the same sort of style as Cooking A Fish, and is mainly about work and capitalism - and how to reach an accommodation with them. The main character, Tony, is a freewheeling bohemian who prepared himself for a life of indolence and fluke but has somehow become a minor corporate functionary.
Although it’s still early days (I have about a fifth of it drafted), you can get an idea of what it’s like by downloading a sample chapter of Tonyconomics. You can also read the chapter in your browser.
If you have any comments, criticisms or suggestions about the book or the title, then please let me know by email or by signing the guest book.
